Privacy policy.

Batch Limited is committed to protecting the privacy of every bookseller, publisher and distributor that uses our services. This policy explains what information we collect when you trade through Batch, how that information is used and the rights you hold over it.

Information we collect

When your bookshop or publishing house registers with Batch we collect the trading details required to operate your account: company name, registered address, account contacts, bank details for settlement and the supplier relationships you maintain. Invoice, credit and claim data passes through Batch as part of normal trading.

How we use your information

Trading data is used solely to deliver the services you have signed up for: presenting invoices, authorising payments, exchanging claims and producing the reports that help you reconcile. We never sell trading data, and supplier level information is only shared with the counterparties involved in a transaction.

  • Processing payment authorisations on your published payment dates.
  • Providing statements, remittance advice and reconciliation reporting.
  • Responding to queries raised through the Batch support desk.

Data security

Batch operates an information security management system certified to ISO 27001 and independently audited by NQA. Access to trading data is restricted, logged and reviewed, and all transfers are encrypted in transit.
